• Today was probably one of the best days I’ve had all break

    • woke up around 9:30
    • errands: Walgreens, donut store, delivering donut to James, Panera Bread, post office
    • mailed birthday gifts to Rosenbaum
    • did some housework
    • boss from post office emailed me my schedule for spring semester…working over 9 hours each week. Last semester I only worked 7 hours a week! Oh well; more money, eh?
    • picked up Daniel, John, Abbott, Jeremy, and Alex
    • went to The Habit for lunch (SO GOOD!)
    • bought vegetables to donate to the Bunny Museum
    • drove out to the Bunny Museum
    • excited about the museum, only to find a board on the porch saying it was closed today due to unforeseen events :(
    • drove back to Arcadia
    • dropped Daniel off
    • went back to John’s house
    • played brawl and ate yummeh food
    • walked to Camino Grove to launch this rocket Jeremy and Alex had
    • took forever to figure out how to work it
    • Abbott and I just went on swings during it; Abbott wanted to sit LOL
    • finally figured it out…IT WAS SO AWESOME!! 400 feet high or so
    • launched it twice :)
    • said bye to Abbott :(
    • drove John/Jeremy/Alex to high school for John to pick up his horn for a pep band gig tonight
    • said bye to John :(
    • drove Alex and Jeremy back home, said bye to them :(
    • picked Mom up at metro station right on time

Today was jampacked full of things, and overall pretty tiring, but it’s got to be one of the best days I’ve had all break. I felt productive, happy, and surrounded by old friends as opposed to just hanging around the house for the larger part of the day. When I hang out with John/Jeremy/Alex/Abbott, I feel like a bro HAHA. They don’t treat me like a girl like “oh you can’t help with the rocket ‘cause you’re a girl!” (although I’m pretty sure they may have made sexist jokes against me throughout the day out of good nature…I think lolol) and let me feel included. It’s always so nice :)

happiness begins when selfishness ends.

Sasha Meyer. I'm a college freshman at Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon, but an original Southern California girl. I love making music, listening to music, and using it as my medicine and best friend when everything else seems to be falling apart. I hate unnecessary drama. I love the rain. Some people would say I'm quirky, and they're probably right. I like to do what makes me happy. I admire John Wooden, and whenever I'm upset with someone, something, or myself, I refer to his book which opens my eyes and makes me love again. My parents and my two older sisters are my role models. I appreciate the little things that people do. I love kids, and my dream is to be an elementary school teacher by day, and play in a community orchestra by night. I take things for granted, but I'm trying to stop. I don't believe you can ever laugh "too much."
